Chris joined the practice in 2008 as a consultant to be responsible for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates as now required by legislation on the sale, letting or assignment of commercial premises. Over the last two years he has provided the required certificates on all property types ranging from the basic to the most complex air conditioned offices.
Chris has extensive property experience. He initially served in the Valuation Office before becoming estates manager for a development corporation. He then entered the academic world lecturing in estate management and valuation at what is now Oxford Brooke University. He returned to practice in the late 1980’s undertaking general practice work and with the opening up of Eastern Europe spent much of his time working abroad advising on the disposal and acquisition of property assets. He has been more locally based for the last ten years and enjoys the challenge of helping to provide a professional service to Douglas Duff’s clients.
