During his career David has been involved in all areas of the commercial property market. Over the past 20 years he has specialised in Landlord & Tenant matters, dealing with rent review and lease renewal negotiations for both landlords and tenants of retail, office and industrial properties throughout the UK.
Amongst his current work David is involved in the re-gearing of shop leases in Newcastle and Norwich, and is acquiring a retail unit in Kensington High Street. He is also dealing with the ground lease rent reviews of two large industrial estates.
David is often instructed to act as an Expert Witness in rent review and lease renewal disputes and has recently been appointed in this capacity by Milton Keynes Parks Trust Ltd and Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.
David initially trained and qualified with the Valuation Office and has continued dealing with rating work for clients both locally and nationally and is currently providing advice for the 2010 Rating List.
David has recently acquired a £3.15 million property portfolio on behalf of a private investor client.
