Priory Business Park

Land Sale, Leasing and Investment Sale

We negotiated the sale of a 3.4 acre development site in a Bedford business park to a property development company. We introduced two local occupiers who required bespoke premises for their long-term expansion within the town. Upon completion of the buildings and the leases to the occupiers, we subsequently sold the properties to an investor for £5.8m.

Kingston, Milton Keynes – Leasing of Industrial Premises

In Spring 2009 we successfully leased a 38,000 sq ft detached industrial building on behalf of Devonshire Holdings to Fronius, an international hi-tech manufacturing business specialising in welding and solar panel technologies. The transaction was negotiated following refurbishment by the landlord within 3 months of the departure of the previous tenant. The speed of the letting was a significant achievement during a period of severe economic downturn.

Rockingham Drive

Linford Wood, Milton Keynes – Leasing of Office Premises

We successfully negotiated the letting of a detached headquarters office building to Hughes Network Systems on behalf of Gazeley UK. This letting was achieved following the identification of an expanding locally based occupier as a suitable tenant. The property is now the European HQ of the Hughes satellite network business.

Lytham House

Caldecotte Lake Business Park – Leasing of Office Premises

Douglas Duff negotiated the leasing of newly refurbished office premises at Lytham House to Parcelforce on behalf of Frontier Estates and La Salle Investment Management. The property is now the world headquarters of Parcelforce and the deal was struck within a short period following refurbishment in 2009.

Northfield Drive

Northfield, Milton Keynes – Acquisition of Industrial Premises

Douglas Duff represented Papa John’s GB Ltd in their acquisition of a detached 48,000 sq ft industrial property on a prime 4 acre site at Northfield, close to J14 of the M1 motorway. A price was negotiated that reflected the significant refurbishment that was required. Papa John’s have invested a considerable sum in re-fitting the premises and it is now their UK dough manufacturing plant serving 150 outlets nationally.
